Opencall for proposals to fund youth projects to address the climate crisis
The Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), has announced a call for proposals to fund youth projects to address the climate crisis as part of the #Youth4Climate (Y4C) initiative.
The Youth4Climate Call for Proposals is a global innovation challenge for young people working on climate change projects. The competition aims to fund new and existing youth initiatives, as well as to support the further development of youth ideas and projects. Since 2023, through the first two rounds of the call for proposals, Youth4Climate has allocated $2.5 million to fund 100 youth climate projects in 52 countries, including Ukraine.
This year, Youth4Climate announces the third round of applications from young people aged 18 to 29 and youth organisations. The winners will be able to receive up to $30,000 to fund their project, as well as additional support:
- networking opportunities and PR support at the national, regional, and global levels to help scale and grow their projects
- participation in a mentoring programme consisting of group trainings, individual consultations with mentors, as well as opportunities for pitching and feedback.
The application deadline is 26 May 2025. To learn more about the competition and apply, please follow the link.
