The Ukrainian Youth Foundation invites experienced specialists in the field of youth policy to join expert councils. This is to ensure a transparent and effective selection of projects to be implemented with the Foundation's support in 2026.

The deadline for submitting documents is March 7, 6:00 PM.

The UYF Expert Councils will be formed from experienced professionals in the youth policy sector to evaluate projects that align with the following priority areas:

• Expanding youth participation in public life and strengthening social cohesion;
• Fostering self-realization and economic capacity of youth;
• Developing resilience, a safe environment, and psycho-emotional well-being of youth.

Mandatory Requirements for UMF Expert Candidates:

• At least three years of experience and professional achievements in the field specified by the Foundation's Directorate in the announcement for the selection of experts to the Foundation's Expert Councils;
• Work experience in youth policy, civic activity, project management, education, social work, or related fields;
• Higher education: Bachelor's degree (for evaluating competitive proposals submitted by individuals); at least a Master's degree (for evaluating competitive proposals submitted by both individuals and legal entities);
• Experience in expert, competition, grant, or evaluation activities (working as an expert, member of commissions, councils);
• Practical experience in implementing projects/programs (participation in project development and implementation, achieved results);
• Proficiency in the state language (Ukrainian);
• Knowledge of budget legislation and experience working with budget funds.

Additional Requirements:

• Implementation/participation in international or national level projects, international recognition, high professional authority;
• Possession of documents on additional non-formal specialized education (schools, courses, trainings, seminars confirmed by relevant certificates), including the "Youth Worker" program, with web links to the educational institutions and organizations where these documents were obtained;
• Possession of prizes and/or awards and/or commendations at the local, national, or international levels.

The selection of candidates for the Expert Councils will be carried out in accordance with the Regulations on the Commission for the Selection of Experts and the Regulations on the Expert Councils of the Ukrainian Youth Foundation.

Please note that all documents must be submitted as scanned copies in PDF format:

1.  Application for participation in the competition for the selection of experts to the Expert Council of the Ukrainian Youth Foundation (according to the form).

2.  Motivation letter (up to 2 pages).

3.  Detailed professional resume (up to 4 pages) in the state language, with separate sections detailing information about:

• Experience and professional achievements in the field specified by the Foundation's Directorate for no less than three years;
• Work experience in youth policy, civic activity, project management, education, social work, or related fields;
• Higher education: Bachelor's degree (evaluation of proposals from individuals); at least a Master's degree (evaluation of proposals from both individuals and legal entities);
• Experience in expert, competition, grant, or evaluation activities;
• Practical experience in implementing projects/programs;
• Proficiency in the state language;
• Knowledge of budget legislation and experience with budget funds;
• Implementation/participation in significant projects, international recognition, high professional authority;
• Possession of prizes and/or awards and/or commendations.

4.  Copies of documents confirming higher education: Bachelor's degree (for individuals); at least a Master's degree (for both individuals and legal entities).

5.  Copies of documents on additional non-formal specialized education (schools, courses, trainings, seminars), including the "Youth Worker" program, with web links to the educational institutions/organizations; and other information that provides further details about the candidate.

6.  Copy of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine (pages 1, 2; pages 3-6 if there are markings; and the page with the registered address) or a copy of the e-passport (front and back), a copy of the extract from the territorial community register, and a copy of the internally displaced person certificate (if applicable).

7.  Copy of the taxpayer registration card (except in cases where an individual has refused it due to religious beliefs and has an official mark in their passport).

8.  Consent to the collection and processing of personal data (according to the form).

All copies of documents must be submitted in Ukrainian and/or in the original language with a Ukrainian translation, certified by a translation bureau or notarized.

Please note that the following persons cannot serve as experts of the Foundation's Expert Councils:

• Persons recognized by a court as legally incapable or with limited legal capacity;
• Persons who have been subject to administrative penalty for a corruption or corruption-related offense within the last year;
• Persons who are close associates of the members of the Supervisory Board, the Directorate, or employees of the Foundation;
• Persons who are members of the Supervisory Board, the Directorate, or employees of the Foundation;
• Persons who, while already holding the status of an expert of the Expert Council, failed to fulfill the duties of an expert as defined in these Regulations, resulting in the termination of their powers.
