The Ukrainian Youth Foundation (UYF) is a state institution created in 2023 to support the initiatives of Ukrainian youth through transparent competitions, as well as to fulfill certain tasks of youth policy.

The vision of the Ukrainian Youth Foundation: the UYF is a transparent state institution that is a reliable partner for international and national organizations in implementing innovative approaches to the implementation of youth policy, promotes the development of the field of youth policy and youth work subjects in accordance with the needs of young people.

The mission of the Ukrainian Youth Foundation is aimed at providing subjects of youth work with the necessary financial, informational, consulting resources based on a competitive model and creating opportunities for young people to be key participants in the development of Ukraine.

The priority areas of activity of the UYF during martial law, in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, are:

• involvement of youth in volunteering to achieve victory and post-war recovery;
• increasing the level of competences of young people through non-formal education;
• increasing the level of economic independence of youth (creation of new and additional jobs).

The activities of the Ukrainian Youth Foundation are based on the following principles:
