Presidential Grants for Youth from Small Territorial Communities: Decree Signed
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed Decree No. 784/2025 "On Presidential Grants for Youth from Small Territorial Communities" – an important document that opens up new opportunities for young people to act, change, and shape their environment.

Starting in 2026, young people from small territorial communities (with up to 5,000 residents) will be able to receive annual Presidential Grants of up to 200,000 hryvnias each. These funds will be allocated to implement socially important projects: volunteer, educational, cultural, environmental, or infrastructure initiatives that help engage youth in building a democratic, strong, and economically developed state.
This step is not just about funding but about trust in young people. It is recognition that even in the smallest community, there are people with big ideas worthy of support. Such decisions make state youth policy closer to the people, as now young people will be able to realize their initiatives where they live – in their school, village, town, or community.
The Ukrainian Youth Foundation welcomes the signing of the Decree and is confident that when young people have support, trust, and resources, they can transform their community into a place where they want to live, act, and dream.
