Iryna Borzova, Member of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Youth Foundation, Member of Parliament of Ukraine, and Chair of the Subcommittee on State Youth Policy of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Youth and Sports, spoke on the national broadcast "United News" about important amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the Fundamentals of Youth Policy", which were adopted by Parliament in the second reading.

One of the key decisions is the expansion of opportunities for the activities of the Ukrainian Youth Foundation, which was established in 2023 under the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Our institution has become a tool for state support of youth, capable of funding their ideas and initiatives across the country. 

"The Ukrainian Youth Foundation is working. It can now be funded not only from the state budget but also through contributions from individuals, businesses, and international funds", — said Iryna Borzova.

The Foundation’s priorities for 2025:

• Economic independence of youth;
• Development of non-formal education;
• Support for volunteering.

The law also provides for the creation of mobile youth centers in communities, especially those affected by the war, and the introduction of a youth guarantee mechanism— a support tool that works effectively in EU countries.
