UYF and Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation join forces
The Ukrainian Youth Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation. This partnership will form the basis for development, leadership and social change aimed at helping young Ukrainians realise their potential.
The first joint initiative under the Memorandum will be the implementation of the second stage of the Career Start grant competition, which is being implemented in partnership with UNICEF with the financial support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through the German state development bank KfW. The focus of the grant competition is on Ukrainian young people aged 16 to 21 who are interested in finding their first official job in their field of study. And directly employers who are ready to hire vocational school graduates without experience.
By combining the efforts of two powerful institutions, young people in Ukraine will have access to new programmes, training and practical tools to help them succeed.
